ACJ offers a range of large business aircraft, the latest of which is the ACJ TwoTwenty, launched in October 2020, creating a whole new market segment ‘The Xtra Large Bizjet.’ The ACJ TwoTwenty is a new and unique value proposition for business aviation buyers. It combines intercontinental range, enabling the aircraft to fly over 12 flight hours, with unmatched personal space, providing comfort for each passenger with 786 square feet of floor space. It is the only business jet featuring six wide VIP living areas of around 130 square feet each.

When looking at some of the busiest airports for large business aircraft departures in the U.S., Francis S Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach saw a rise of 37.9 percent in August when compared to the same month in 2019, Dallas Love Field Airport in Dallas saw an increase of 33.6 percent and Opa Locka Executive in Miami a rise of 25.7 percent.

“Despite global economic and political volatility, the business aviation market in the U.S. is enjoying strong growth,” said Sean McGeough, VP Commercial ACJ for North America.

He added, “There are several reasons for this, including a significant increase in new ‘first-time’ users of business aircraft during the worst of the COVID-19 crisis who now want to continue flying privately, to employers placing a growing focus on the well-being of their managers, to new innovative aircraft being launched that have a greater focus on efficiency and sustainability.”

The ACJ TwoTwenty offers unbeatable economics and unrivaled reliability at the same price as ultra-long-range business jets. It occupies the same parking space as competing business jets and can take off from the same airports, but its operating costs are one-third less. It also has the quietest and most eco-friendly aircraft in its category.

ACJ is working as part of the global Airbus family to optimize its environmental performance, reduce noise and create responsible solutions that support both its sustainability ambitions and customers’ goals.

The ACJ TwoTwenty, thanks to its advanced design and the most efficient engines of any large business jet, is the quietest aircraft in the LR/ULR marketplace, delivering an 18 decibel noise margin versus current regulations and up to 20 percent lower fuel burn versus previous-generation aircraft.

As with all ACJ aircraft, the ACJ TwoTwenty is certified to fly with a 50% blend of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The goal is to achieve 100 percent SAF certification by 2030.

More than 210 Airbus corporate jets are in service worldwide, flying on every continent, including Antarctica.
